Accessibility
Our commitment to making PetMyDear usable for everyone.
Our commitment
PetMyDear is committed to ensuring the provider portal and public website are accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines and continuously improve the experience for all users.
Current implementation
- Keyboard navigation supported throughout the application
- Skip-to-content link on all pages
- ARIA labels and roles on interactive elements
- Color contrast meets WCAG 2.1 AA on primary surfaces
- Form fields include visible labels, error messages, and hint text
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
- Images include descriptive alt text
- Loading, empty, and error states communicate status to screen readers
- Large touch targets on mobile for primary actions
Known limitations
Some areas of the platform are still being improved for accessibility. In particular, complex data tables in the admin console and some onboarding form transitions are being reviewed for screen reader compatibility. We prioritize fixing reported issues that block core workflows.
Report an issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us at accessibility@petmydear.com or use our contact page. Please describe the page and the barrier you encountered. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Third-party content
Some content linked from PetMyDear (e.g., external booking systems, clinic websites) is not under our control and may not meet the same accessibility standards. We encourage providers to ensure their own external booking pages are accessible.
